About Hyper Island
Hyper Island was born in 1996 in an abandoned prison island in Karlskrona, Sweden, with a clear mission: to reinvent education for the digital age. Today it is one of the most influential creative schools in the world, with campuses in Stockholm, Manchester, Singapore, São Paulo and programs in New York. Its model is based on real projects with clients like Google, IKEA, Nike and the UN, without traditional teachers (facilitators guide the process) and with a radical emphasis on personal and group reflection as a learning tool.
